I am the descendant of Elias Lake and Lucy Dodson. I am trying to find anyone with knowledge of the Leake-Kendall cemetery NW of Sperryville, VA. The current owner has been removing markers over the past several years. I need a list of persons buried in the cemetery. I know Lucy Leake 1874-1890 and Emily Brown Leake 1839-1919 and French Strother Leake 1846-1903 are buried there. As well as a Nancy Oder and possibly Braxton Kendall, Lucy Cornwell Kendall, Enoch W Kendall and Anna Cornwell Kendall and Enoch L Kendall. I am trying to preserve the cemetery.
