Rebecca, I have John Bradley and Sarah Lillard in my database, but no marriage date or children. Are you willing to share their descendants? I am a descendant of James Lillard and Keziah Bradley. It is believed that Lawrence Bradley was married to Elizabeth Lillard, d/o Jean "John" Lillard and Sarah Glassel, his first wife. I'm not sure that has been proven. Lawrence and Elizabeth Bradley were the parents of (1) Augustine Bradley who married Elizabeth Lillard; (2) John Bradley who married Sarah Lillard; and (3) Keziah Bradley who married James Lillard. It is believed that Elizabeth, Sarah and James Lillard were siblings, and possibly the children of Benjamin Lillard and Elizabeth Lightfoot. Regards, Lillie Dodson Marshall Hello I am looking for examples of architecture from the early to mid 1700's in the Orange County/Culpepper County (Old Rag Mtn area). I am researching what life was like for the bradley and Lillard families growing up. The two children John Bradley and Sarah Lillard married quite young. Sarah was only around 13/14 yo. Was this typical? Lawrence Bradley is my supposed gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-gr grandfather. I am interested in what type of housing exiasted there? Were the farms log cabins, or frame houses? How big were the average homes on Old Rag Mountain? Were the Bradley's and Lillard's pretty well off? I believe that Lawrence may have also owned a Mill of some sort. I believe his wife's name ws Elizabeth..... Any info from the area would be appreciated...I am trying to piece to gether what the area was like. Rebecca Snyder
