Becky, I am not familiar with "Old Rag Mtn.", but if you are interested, I have a narrative written by Walter Scott Cash (my husband's grandfather) who was born in 1868 in Bowling Green. The account is of Walter's gr-grandfather's estate in Caroline County "that will serve as a sample or pattern for there was little or no variation of conditions in other parts of the state".
