I can't answer your questions. Mathilda Kennedy seems to be listed as a descendant of Sarah Wharton. Sarah was the daughter of Jane Sparks and her husband Thomas Wharton. She was a half-sister to the Henry Towles of the will, as they had the same mother. Henry was half-brother to my ancestor, Lucy Garnett, because they had the same father. As such, Sarah and my Lucy were step-sisters and not directly related. I have not done any work on Sarah's family.
