Hmm... Swindler, with an R? That's interesting. Is this a variant spelling of the Swindle/Swindell name? All the information I have points to Thomas Piner's wife being Elizabeth Swindle (no R), daughter of John Swindle and Hannah Weaver. The Swindles ans Weavers were certainly in the right place at the right time, and I haven't heard of any separate Swindler family in Culpeper at the time. Anybody know any more on this topic?
