I am interested in finding if my John is related to the Browns that have been in the list lately. My earliest John Brown was born in 1758 in Culpeper Co., Va./ or 1764 England and married Lucy (Mary) Doggett.. I am told they are buried in Mt. Pony Cemetery in Culpeper County, Virginia (but have not be able to find anyone has seen the listing for this burial.... they had 13 known children....I have nothing on his ancestors; any help would be appreciated. He married Lucy "Mary" Doggett 1781 in Culpeper County, Virginia, daughter of Thomas Doggett and Bathsheba ?. She was born in Carolina County, Virginia, and died in Sumter County, South Carolina. Children of John Brown and Lucy Doggett are: 2 i. John Doggett3 Brown, born 1789; died December 31, 1834 in Culpeper County, Virginia: MB 1866-1867 (The Doggett Family Home Page). He married Catherine Thomas Sample August 19, 1810 in Waterford, Loundoun County, Virginia; born 1789 in Loudoun County, Virginia. 3 ii. Sarah R. (Randolph) Brown, born February 08, 1795 in Virginia; died in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio. She married Spencer F. Doggett October 18, 1820; born October 18, 1796 in Culpeper County, Virginia; MB October 18, 1797; died November 23, 1847 in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio. 4 iii. Nimrod Brown, born March 29, 1796 in Culpeppr County, Virginia; died January 09, 1873 in Coryell County, Texas near the Community of Flat. He married Gracie Reece/Reese March 12, 1818 in Culpepper County, Virginia; conflicting marriage date of March 12, 1812 (Doggett Family Home Page); born October 19, 1796 in Culpeper County, Virginia.; died July 08, 1868 in Gatesville, Coryell County, Texas. 5 iv. Thomas Brown. 6 v. Walker Brown. He married Mollie Vaughn. 7 vi. Benjamin Brown. 8 vii. James Brown. 9 viii. Daniel Brown. He married Penelope Collins 1809. 10 ix. James Brown. 11 x. Mary Mardy Brown. 12 xi. Mildred Brown, died in Culpeper County, Virginia. She married William Doggett March 18, 1819 in Culpeper County, Virginia. 13 xii. Betsy Brown. 14 xiii. Lucy Brown, died in Culpeper County, Virginia. Is it possible my Browns connect to the ones below?
