Yes, it mentions in the book titled "Green Notes", that Isham B. Mason, father of Jessie L. Burrows (built old CH. and St. Stephens Church. There was also a William Mason (the only Mason) listed on the Culpeper Taxpayers for 1782. Is this one of your Mason's?
I don't know. I do know that Isham named his sons, William, Thomas and Robert and I descend from Robert. It is interesting to note also that Robert named his first son William B. I haven't been able to locate Isham's sons William and Thomas as in a court case that Lucy brought for her dowry rights, she states that they went west and that could be anywhere from Culpeper <smile> I would be really tickled to find them though to see how they named their children.
