Do you have a list of the 1st Robert Abell who was in Maryland and a list of the 2nd Abell (Captain Robert Abell) who showed up in Virginia. There is a Joseph Abell in Orange County, VA in 1709 who had a son named Richard Abell (who is the oldest ancestor in my line). I also know that Captain Robert Abel had a son named Richard. I bought the Abell in America book but my poor brain will not help me decide which one of these Abell men was the father of Richard Abell. Can you help, or is this message too confusing?
