June 24, 1801 in VA, presumabley Culpeper, VA d. Jan 30, 1877 in Miami Co KS JOHN married RACHEL PEDEN in VA about 1827, son Alexander born in VA 1828. They moved to Oh for a couple of years then 1834 to Vermillion Co. Eugene TWP, IN. About 1858 John and part of the family moved to Miami Co, Osage TWP, KS, where John died and is buried. Several of his realtives are also buried in the Fontana Cemetery.
