There are reports that Charles Weaver, born ca. 1795, was probably the son of Daniel Weaver and Barbara Clore, but proof is lacking. I would appreciate any proof or comments that anyone may have. I am also trying to prove that Charles Weaver who married Mary Tuckwiller, daughter of Thomas Tuckwiller, on Feb.18, 1817, in Shenandoah (now Page) County, Va., was the same Charles Weaver. He owned property on Dry Run in and near the Blue Ridge in present-day Page County, where he died in 1858. Also during the 1820s and early 1830s, he owned a small tract of land on the north side of Hughes river in Madison County, Va. This small tract appears to have been the site of either a grist mill or a saw mill.
