THE BEST PLACE TO LOOK IN THE LANK RECORDS THEY TELL SOMETIMES ABOUT PEOPLE TRADING SLAVES AND IN WILL WHERE THEY LEAVE THEIR WIFE AND CHILDREN SLAVES ----- Original Message ----- From: SouthernBelRoots@aol.com Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2003 10:19 PM To: VACULPEP-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [VACULPEP] Slave Sales in the Va. Area Hello, I was wondering where you could find information on Slave Sales in Washington County, Virginia from 1770-1825. Slaves bought and sold and to whom. Then in Culpepper County ( Old Rag Mountain Area ) from the 1730's until the 1790's? Same thing. Where were slaves bought and sold in that area? Since Rag Mountain was wilderness in that time period? I am looking for any sales too and from the Bradley families. Also, any too and from the Lillard family.
