    3. Looking for any information on Jacob Martin in Prince William VA He could have married in VA and I do not know his wife's name. Jacob died in Scott County KY after 1803. I believe his children to be my Susan Martin(Lyons?), Jacob Jr., Joel and Benjamin. Susan b 1730 and I do not know if it were VA or KY. She married 1791 in KY at age 31. Where the Lyons comes from I do not know unless she was married before she married William John O'Banion in Woodford County, KY. By Jacob Martin's name there is a Vanta which I haven't identified. Susan and William John O'Banion had a daughter Anna that married Asa Cobb, son of Samuel Cobb and Judah Peake. Samuel was in the Rev. War and his family came from Barnstable, MA Area to SC and then KY. Louisville, KY

    2. Winnie, Your William John O'Banion is of interest to me. In KY there was a family of Hagans who married into the Ray Family around the 1800 time frame. My third gr. were Alcy Hagans & Willis Ray. They had a daughter they named Fransis O'Banion Ray. I have thought that Alcy or Willis could have O'Banion connections but have as yet not found that tie. They were from Clark Co. KY when they married but I am not certain where they were born. Alcy was born several years before her father married so it is possible he was married before to someone else. Do you see any possible connection.
