The Germanna Foundation tours the villages of our ancestors every June for 10 days. I have traveled with them 3 out of the 4 times and it was fantastic each and every time. The last tour that I took, in 2005, I participated with the Foundation and helped with several of the tours in northern Germany dealing with the First Colony. The reception that we have received from the Germans is absolutely amazing, they are so glad to have us there and so welcoming. If you're a Germanna descendant, you might want to consider taking this trip!
