    1. Re: [VACULPEP] Cemeteries
    2. Dear Lee, Not sure what Rt. it is on, but its the one which leads to Waylands Mill, at one time was called Waylands Mill Rd, I believe. Yes it is just off the road sitting back in the tree line; there use to be what looked like an old wall and fence there. If this is one and the same place, it would be nice to have volunteers to clean it up. There are not many headstones within, but there are at least 20 - 25 people buried there including Daniel & Jean (Lindsey) Ross as we have a letter stating so. Other people buried with in: Landon Clatterbuck and Nellie Ross; RB (fieldstone found) is for Reeves Bashaw first child of John & Palmyra Estelle (Ross) Bashaw; and I know a few others whose names escapes me. Fourteen years ago, my late husband and I came to Culpeper, just one of the times, and chalked the headstones, then took pictures and documented the headstones, and other places of burial. I wish I could be there to help, but I live in Texas too far away.
