I am aware of the facts of the Civil War. Thanks to all that emailed me, I know you meant well. I should have explained myself further. So my emails don't get flooded with history lessons, I just wanted to say; just found it rather strange that it was written on the census. It looked as if it had been added. Didn't know people were allowed to alter the originals. Just wanted to share this first hand. I will be a little more careful in my words of sharing. LOL!!!!!
