There is a large degree of info on this person after 1812 when he joined the Army during the War of 1812. He recieved bounty land in Baldwin CO Alabama and was prominent in the area. I cannot find his father and mother who are supposedly from Culpeper CO, VA. A quick look through the Culpeper Wills and Land records shows many Slaughters in the county but i cannot link Lee SLaughter to any of those persons. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. best Stephen
