I did not find a marriage record for Joseph Smith or Letitia Brown in the book titled, "Notes on Culpeper" by Green, 1900. There are however a slew of Smith and Brown marriages in Culpeper. Possibly could they have gotten married in Madison County depending if they lived on a disputed county line?
