    3. I have some more contemporary, sketchy Triplett info that ties into my Nicols. James W. Triplett b Jul 1833 Virginia married Margaret Jane Nicol b 10 Mar 1826 Charlestown WV or Virginigia. Margaret was the daughter of Jacob Nicol b 16 May 1787 Frederick Md. died 19 Jan 1837 Shepherdstown, Wv. and Rebecca Ott b 3 Oct 1804 Charlestown, Kanawha Co, Wv died 6 Sept 1883 Jacob's father was Michael Nicol b 30 Dec 1742 Lancaster Pa died 18 Dec 1814. Michaels father was Johannes Nicol (Nicholas) b 1714 Probably Germany and Margaretha Unknown. Another line of the Nicol family (our line) settled in Little Washington, Rappahannock Co. Va and later moved slightly south to Madison County, Va. Back to James W. Triplett. He and Margaret Jane Nicol had at least 3 children Ellen B. Triplett born 1859 Va. Annie Frances Triplett b 1862 and Edward J. Triplett b 1867 Va, Edward married Laura Unknown b 1874. They had at least two sons William Triplett and Harry Triplett. The 1900 Census Fauquier Scott District Upperville, shows J. Edward Triplett b abt 1867 in Va with wife Laura b 1875 and sons William and Harry b 1894 and 1896 and Daughter Keda born 1900. one further piece of info on James W. Triplett. Self employed Wheel wright .
