Amanda, Artie, Tim and I have been researching the McConchie line for some time now. Amanda and Artie have gone to long lenghts in researching the court records and microfilms. In doing so, we have a very strong feeling that they are connected with the McConchie's in Charles Co., Maryland. Since we have crossed over the Potomac into Maryland we also have come across so many familiar surnames that repeat themselves here in Virginia. We are sure they left Maryland and came to Virginia. I highly recommend that those of you who are searching names in Fauquier Co and Culpeper, Stafford Co, Prince William take a good look at the Maryland genealogy.
