I have seen him married to ( Frances) but that is incorrect. John was in the Rev. war. John and Sally did have a daughter Frances who married Ansel Burden in Sept. 14,1815 in Elbert county, georgia. I have a copy of John Davis will. It was dated after wife Sally had passed away. I have some info on his war record in my file. Would need to dig to find it. I have a copy of a deed that has John Davis and wife S. Ann listed. I would like to email you and maybe we can discuss this futher. I also would like to join the DAR but not sure who to contact.
