Miller is an elusive surname to research; I have three from three unrelated families in my tree. One of the most interesting one that may or may not be connected is on the Wayne County, NY web page in county history. This Miller helped build the Erie Canal. The grandson of a presumably unrelated Miller, who worked on the canal, married my .great aunt. There is also Miller in the Germanna Ccolonies in Culpepper. .
