    1. Re: [VACULPEP] In A History of Orange County, VA by W W Scott Census 1782
    2. This is very interesting and promising for me to have some more fun researching. Do you have any Stapps or Stepps in your history? Mine is Abraham [1646, Buckinghamshire UK] and his wife Dorothy Moss [ca.1660-1718 Essex Co VA]and then all their children specifically Joshua [1688 Essex Co VA-1783 Orange Co VA] and his wife Martha Coffey [1690 Essex Co VA-1772]. Their daughter Elizabeth [1729 Orange Co VA-1795 Kanawha Co WV] was the wife of the very well known William Morris [Kanawha Co DAR chapter named after him] and they were the parents of Frances [1760 Culpeper Co VA-1/3/1844 Kanawha Co WV] who married into my Joneses: John [1/28/1755 Culpeper Co VA-1/17/1838 Kanawha Co WV] who was also a Patriot with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, the Morrises. Would love to hear from you. Phyllis DePoy Manassas VA -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Donna Vogt" <[email protected]> > My maiden name was Stapperfenne.
