Pat,    I have more farmers than I do any royalty, etc and am more proud of them than some of the others. I did  provide a source on my posting namely Gary Boyd Roberts who does genealogy on all of the Presidents and Vice-Presidents. That is where the information came from. Plus there are descendants in Culpeper who descend from the Eltonhead sisters  (5 of them all throughout Va) and their marriages   Again, my posting was meant for genealogy only. I am not posting on politics. For instance the Cheney that obama is hooked to was no were near the residing area where the other cheney's ancestors came from. And there are notes that obama's dunham relatives changed their names in New Jersey back in the late 1600's. I know it is thrilling to want to be related to some person in history. But I am proud of my ancestors if they only came from digging dirt in the Lord and Master's fields.
