Payne was married in Culpeper in 1801. I can NOT find him anywhere for SEVEN years !!! His first 3 children were born in Virginia. What sources should I be using to find Bennet?? He did eventually move to Madison County Kentucky in 1808. Would appreciate any suggestions as how to find him in Culpeper or in "any" county in Virginia. I do NOT know the names of his parents.
