My ggggrandfather, Daniel Emmons, sued John P. Kelly. Is he one of your relatives? If you Google Virginia Chancery Records you'll get to the site. Use the pull down menu to enter Fauquier, then, either Emmons or Kelly. You should be able to access the lawsuit. It's about 30 pages or so. Let me know if you have any problems.
