Hello All, Bessie Mae was my maternal aunt; I have a copy of the Charles Hamilton Kilby Bible family pages from which the Library of Va.put a copy online. Her DOB given was 31 July 1879. "Jeter Corbin and Bessie May Kilby was [sic] married Oct. 5,1904".A DOB for Jeter was given as Nov. 15,1873. He was one of eight children listed. Other names mentioned were Tancill, Tatum, Carpenter, Peyton, Clark, Smith, Beasley and Spicer. I would be interested in exchanging info with present day Kilbys from Culpeper, Madison, and Orange counties at least, descended from William Ansylum Kilby and Damsel Clatterbuck with especial regard to the male lines for a DNA project.
