    3. Charlene: I've never seen the name spelled with a "c" so have changed the subject line accordingly. Elizabeth Foushee was a daughter of William Foushee who names her in his short will of 1839 as one of "my four youngest daughters." As Betty W. Foushee, she married Fayette M. Latham, Culpeper County marriage bond dated 6 March 1854 (not 1853). You can also find this family on the 1850 census through ancestry.com. Craig M. Kilby P.S.     3. It may have no bearing on this, but the first mayor of Richmond Va. was a Foushee, a doctor I believe, from Scotland. There is still a street named for him there.
