    3. People, since January 1980, all the emails we ever sent in to the Culpeper list have been stored for everyone's continuing research ~ first by rootsweb and now (since it was no longer affordable to maintain by private donation) ~ by ancestry.com. You can Search for your family surnames or Browse them all thru the years at: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/VACULPEP/ Pretty cool, huh. This is my manipulative way to get around to begging you to clean up your emails before hitting Send. A *snippet* of the part of a current email you are responding to is usually all that is necessary for reference, if the Subject line itself isn't self-explanatory. None of the repetitive >>>> tag lines, list unsubscribe addresses, etc. that just take up space, well you know that junk that follows every message, need be duplicated in your re:s. Please, please. Copy & paste a snippet of what you need to reference. Type in your response. Set the cursor after your signature; drag the mouse after the signature or hold down the Control/Shift/ End keys to highlight all the miscellaneous stuff that follows your signature & press Delete. Digest readers will be forever grateful and there's a greater chance the already cumbersome archives for all the old rootsweb lists will continue to be available for those who come after us.
