    3. On Tuesday April 18, 1826 in court ........Upon this day came Frances Slaughter, minor, of Gabriel Slaughter deceased, into open court and made choice of James Slaughter, her brother, as her guardian where upon the court does appoint the same James Slaughter, Guardian of the said Frances Slaughter...etc....... Also Tuesday April 6, 1819 Administration of estate of George Slaughter deceased by John Field Jr. page 195 book order Probate A. These notes are from an old notebook of the late 40's. I do not know where to look. I know Frances Ellen Slaughter married in Indiana 12 Dec. 1826 in Clark County. The money was $4,000 of which her husband Claudsley W Smith relieved her almost immediately..... Gabriel was a son of William Slaughter and Katherine Zimmerman. Other children were Thomas, William, John, Smith. With my other information from Slaughter Books, records, CD's, genealogy searches etc. this is the one that will prove beyond a doubt my line. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Gabriel would have died between the conception or birth of Frances Ellen 1810 and 1826 when she appeared in court as minor. A James Slaughter had a Deed in Charlestown ? Lot 133 Aug. 14 1826 BK 24, 378 or so the note said.
