Hi, I am writing to both Culpeper Co. email and Fauquier Co. in hopes that someone might be able to give me information on places to take my granddaughter's,12 and 15, this summer to show them where their families lived and to see the area's where they lived. We have never been there so are at a lost as to how to plan. I am interested in George BROWN bn abt 1722 in Westmoreland Co .to Maxfield BROWNE and Sarah NEWMAN. George's son Martin BROWN was my 4th greatgrandfather. He married Mary (Polly) FLETCHER who's father was Aaron FLETCHER of Fauquier Co.. Martin and Polly's daughter Mary Ann married John KEITH in Fauquier Co 1830. John KEITH was born abt 1798/99 in Culpeper Co. I don't believe John was connected to the KEITH Family of Fauquier Co. I have been told that there are still a lot of Browns living there, but not sure. I am open to any suggestions about points of interest the girls might enjoy seeing.
