JACOB2 HOLTZCLAW ((HANS) JACOB1) was born 1738 in Prince William Co. VA, and died October 21, 1812 in Mercer Co, KY. He married SUSANNAH THOMAS 1758 in Prince William Co. VA, daughter of JOHN THOMAS ?. She was born October 10, 1745, and died October 10, 1821 in Mercer Co., KY. Notes for JACOB HOLTZCLAW: Also in the "Holtsclaw Family", by B.C.Holtzclaw, Ph. D. KY between 1775 and 1782, being among early settlers near Harrodsburg. While living in KY he served in the Revolutionary War, in a company of Lincoln Co., Militia commanded by Capt. Samuel Kirkham, in an expedition under Gen. Clark against enemy Indians in 1782 (cf. Illinois Papers, Document 79 Dept. of Archives, Virginia State Library, Richmond). Issue from family bible." Can anyone tell me the names of any of Susanne Thomas' siblings? I have an Ann Thomas I am trying to find parents for, she married Thomas Clifton son of Burdette Clifton and Frances Hill in Stafford Co.,VA.
