Witnessed: Samuel Dean Jr., Thomas S. Morris. (signed) John CADDEL. A follow-up record on the above land transaction reads: "Mary CADDEL, wife of John CADDEL relinquishes her rights of dowry to the above conveyed land. Signed (X) Mary CADDEL...Shadrack Morris, J. P."
