Maybe I missed something in this discussion, but I don't recall anyone actually saying they descend from William the Conqueror, so I don't know why you keep bringing it up. Sure it's probably hypothetical, but what's the point of referring to it over and over? I agree that evidence is credible or it isn't, but perhaps it's not what you are saying, but HOW you are saying it. You can be rather dismissive in your tone when replying. Nothing personal, just an observation. I also observe that you like to have the last word, so go ahead. I'm not responding any further, so you automatically win that one. :) Your e-mail address says it all. -----Original Message----- From: vaculpep-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:vaculpep-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Craig Kilby Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2009 1:45 PM To: mdillow31@verizon.net; vaculpep@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [VACULPEP] It's all relative I am by no means am trying to "intinimidate" you. All I ask from anyone is to provide evidence of what they assert. You are either a descendant of William the Conquorer, or you aren't. If you say are, then PROVE IT I cannot comprehend how people take this so personally. You either have credible evidence, or you don't. If you do, then present it. If you do not have evidence, don't present it. Seems pretty simple to me. I think even Judge Judy would concur on this simple basic point.
