    3. Thanks again Joan. I also have this too. Quite a few years ago I saw a book on the Holladays of my line going all the way back to England to Walter the Minstrel. But the generations seem to be in question. It was a large family book written on the Holaday's. It may have been written by Alvis Milton Hollladay but there are inconsistencies with other researchers who have followed his work.   I guess the 1724 deed would be in Spotsylvania but it is a question on the land description on the 1711 deed which one of the three counties it might be in, King William, Essex or King & Queen. I haven't studied those counties yet.   Thanks for helping me out. I appreciate it. :)   Marianne Dillow   --- On Sat, 1/10/09, cpzb4@aol.com <cpzb4@aol.com> wrote: From: cpzb4@aol.com <cpzb4@aol.com> Subject: Re: [VACULPEP] Holladay To: mdillow31@verizon.net, vaculpep@rootsweb.com Date: Saturday, January 10, 2009, 8:17 PM This is the other document that I found. You may have seen this one as well.  I wish you luck on your search. Since the document mentioned King Williams Co  that might be a place to start because Spotsylvania Co was formed from Essex, King WIlliams and King and Queen Counties in 1720.  See attachment above June Listen to 350+ music, sports, & news radio stations FREE while you browse.Start Listening Now!
