Their only child was Jael Harrison (167?-1733); she married (1) William WILLIAMS who died intestate in Essex County in 1712 and (2) Richard Johnson with whom she lived in Spotsylvania County on the Rappahannock River immediately opposite Ferry Farm, home of George Washingtons parents. Richard Johnson died intestate in 1726 and Jael (Harrison) Williams Johnson died testate in Spotsylvania County in 1733 survey of the Northern Neck of Virginia made for Thomas, Lord Fairfax, designates the estate as Williams and immediately opposite the Strother plantation which was purchased and occupied by Captain Augustine Washington in 1738. In 1745 a ferry was established from the Williams plantation across Rappahannock River to the Washington plantation and this continued to be a well accustomed passage for many years.
