Show marriage to John Greenslate, Sr. on May 5 1794 Clark Co., KY. I have no idea where this info came from, as it was just in a notebook, and not being related, I did not check it out. I offer it merely as a guide. My only known Greenslate connection is a marriage between their dau, Mary Jane, to Basil Burriss Lewis, Sr. Mary Jane Greenslate was born June 6, 1845 in Greenup Co., KY and died 1922. She married Basil Burriss Sr. Lewis July 6, 1861 in Lewis Co., KY. He was born January 31, 1840 in Tannery, Lewis Co.,KY and died July 8, 1926 in Tannery, Lewis Co., KY, son of Fielding Tilton Lewis and Sophia Burriss. Feilding & Sophia were my maternal GG gparents. Hope this will help in some way. Blessings Bev
I am looking for information on George Dearmon (or Dearmin, Dearman) said to have been born in Culpeper County Virginia in 1806. His parents are John and Rebecca (Piercy/Pearcy/Percy) Dearman. John was born in Pennsylvania and Rebecca was born in Virginia -- possibly Culpeper County. I would like further information on John and Rebecca as well as George. George Dearmin married Elizabeth Rogers in Monroe County Indiana on 24 Feb 1828. I believe some of John and Rebecca Dearman's children moved on to Iowa. If anyone is researching these lines, I would like to correspond with you. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
