John Ingram married Elizabeth Fortner. Both are listed as being born in VA. Am trying to find a wedding date. It is possible they were married in KY I do not know. Other children for them besides my Permilla (Pamela/Ann) already married listed in the 1850 KY Census are: Goodson, Hardin, Catherine, Clark, Cynthia, Archibald, another son??not legible and Susanna. There are other Ingrams listed on the same Census. Alexander, Washington. Do not know if these are children of John and Elizabeth.

If so, we have talked and these children of Darby and Lydia are the ones I provided to you. My quest continues to link myself to Capt Darby Downey of Rev. War. I have all documentation except documentation on Darby (who married Lydia McInturff) and his Father, also named Darby who was the son of Capt. Darby. I know Darby (Lydia) died sometime between 1870 and 1880 but I can find no record of his death. I was hoping to find his death cert in the hope that it would list his parents, thereby providing the link I am missing. Thanks for any insight you might have.

The following is 1850 census 58th District, Shenandoah, VA The households are of McInturff surname which is the maiden name of Lydia who married Darby Downey. Darby Downey is listed and living next door to them is most likely Lydia's father George. I copied all the McInturff census for Lydia's family. These McInturff's were all in the same district and very close to one another. I also listed any Downey's of the same area.
