I have received several CARPER printouts from both Genforum, and from members of this group. Just oodles of stuff. Later, when the weather settles down, I intend to post it all in generations. I will desire any help possible in correcting errors, and adding source. Believe me, the additional material is voluminous! But most mysterious is the file I got tracing the 1799 Nicholas back not to the usual Carper, but to an Alkanah Washington Carper. It is disturbing because it rocks the boat, and because it makes sense. To a point. Can anyone come up with an explanation of Alkanah Washington Carper, and his (I would have thought her) surrounding generations? Thanks, Vince
