Is anyone aware if there is an error in the above book by Peggy Grubbs? Specifically in the "marriage" of Elizabeth Harvey and Nicholas Carper of 1749? Many sites seem to indicate that he married and Elizabeth Shrider. Now, of course, the two could be the same person. Or not. Does anyone have solid evidence one way or the other? I incline toward Shrider, but do not think Peggy Grubbs would have said Harvey without any reason. Some might, but she lists much source generally, and I am reluctant to dismiss her...
