I think that this may be John "Temper" Caldwell that married Polly Hively. I have listed 9 children for them. Nothing listed for her parents as of yet. In my records also a John Caldwell married a Mary Hively 10-22-1804 Botetourt Co. Va. I did not see the first part of this thread so I hope I am not out of line. Fred W.
