Thanks for the list of ministers - Charlotte County; however, I have a question about one of the Methodist ministers: Devereau Jarrett - this name appears in the Episcopal list and I know that he was an Episcopal minister - My husband's great grandfather. Devereau Jarrett Claiborne Slaughter was a Methodist minister. Could it be that the last name of this minister was left off and that it was my husband's ancestor? I have been to Charlotte several time to look for ancestors and have found the people in the Clerk's Office to be most helpful and they have good - old - records.
