I am looking for anyone who might relate to Lewis JACKSON d. 1795 (apparently intestate- inventory done in 1795- and guardians for 6 children in 1795). Lewis Jackson m. Frances RIchardson in Cumberland Co in 1762. Most of the RIchardson's moved to Charlotte. Lewis was born as son of Ralph and Obedience JACKSON (d. 1774/6 Chesterfield Co). I have identified 7 of Lewis' children but given that a number were minors in 1795, and the couple had married in 1762, there should be older children as well. I'd like to "talk" with any Jackson's, Richardson's, Harvey's, Hamlett's in Charlotte Co VA in mid to late 1700's. Direct lines are Lewis Jackson and Frances Richardson. Thomas B.W..Harvey (son of Capt. John) and Barbara WAlton Thier daughter, Polly Harvey m. 1804 to Ralph Jackson (son of Lewis- they were first cousins, as Thomas B.W. Harvey's mother, Ann Richardson Harvey, is the sister of Frances Richardson Jackson). Ralph and Polly Harvey Jackson's son, Francis Hester Jackson m. Sarah Hamlett in 1846.
