    2. Melanie, I have no information at all about the surname "Noel," but just an observation - Charlotte County was formed in 1765. Prior to that time, the land was in Lunenburg County, but Lunenburg did not become a separate county until 1746. So, if your evidence shows that the family was "always" at its location in what became Charlotte County, have you tried looking in Brunswick County? Lunenburg County was formed from Brunswick County.
