Samuel Price Clark was born in Charlotte County, Va. 3-5-1801. He married Elizabeth Wilmoth Hall, daughter of John Robins Hall and Sally Hurt about 11-15-1826 in Halifax County, Va. He later migrated to Carroll Co., Tn and died 3-5-1880 in Gibson County, Tn. I am attempting to locate the parents of Samuel. With his middle name being Price, I believe that it is possible that his mother's maiden name was Price. I note that there was a William Price in Charlotte County in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Does anyone recognize the family of Samuel Clark, or does anyone know of a marriage between a Price and Clark slightly before or after 1800 in Charlotte County? Any information would be appreciated.
