Hello, I am new to the list. My husband and I are researching BOND, SALYER, KENT, CATES, TOLBERT, CLARK, HIMES and a few others. We are currently looking for any assistance with William Wellington BOND. He is believed to have been born in Amherst Co., VA about 1776 but no one has found any documentation to prove it. Therefore we are searching other areas of VA to see if we might find him in another locale. This William Wellington BOND married a Margaret DAVIS in Amherst Co., 11/9/1793; he died in Wise Co., VA 1/17/1868; these are his children: Charles Franklin, b. Amherst Co.; John ? b. Rockbridge Co.; Polly ? b.?; Betsy ? b.? ; William Wellington II, b. Scott Co.; Nancy ? b. ? Any assistance greatly appreciated. Willing to share what we have. Angie jadds@bellatlantic.net
