Sarah Martin is named as a daughter in the Charlotte County will of Edward Elam, dated 1 January 1809, and referred to again in the estate settlement only as "Sarah Martin." I would like to find the name of her husband. Edward Elam's other children have marriage records ca. 1786-1812 in Lunenburg, Mecklenburg & Charlotte Counties. Does anyone have record of a marriage, ca. 1786-1809, between Sarah Elam and a Martin?
