Source: Marriage Records of Charlotte Co., VA 1765-1863, typed by Joel Ricks of the Genealogical Society of Utah, 1937. LDS microfilm. I don't have any other information, but maybe this is a lead.     3. Hi Carroll, See you're back on the trail again. Besides this list, post on VA southside, which includes Charlotte Co and ha a larger "audience". What's new? How Olya taking this mess with Kosovo? Glad you weren't in Moscow when some decided to try a grenade launcher. Things could get ugly I think. I've go mixed emotions about the whole thing. On the other hand I see a new Hitler emerging which could b a real problem. I understand his problem with a peace keeping force on his soil, and I don't want my sons to be sent there, but somethings got to stop this madness. Just wish it wasn't the US. The 24 y.o. is still in "Love", and making his mother nuts. On the other hand it's gorgeous out today so after physical therapy, I went out and chacked at weeds for a considerable time (For me!) John married Catherine Haynes and had three children: Fenton G., Elizabeth, and Mary Catherine. Mary Catherine married Edward H. Reams who served in Company K, Charlotte Rifles during the War. Children of Edward Reams and Mary Catherine North included:Nancy, Mary Susan, Edward D., John William, and Nora Fenton. Nora Fenton married Linwood Colley who was my gg grandfather. You always kept your bags packed Although you had no fame, and Just for the fun of it Twice you changed your name. You never owed any man, or At least I found no bills In spite of eleven offspring You never left a will. They say our name's from Europe Came state side on a ship Either they lost the passenger list Or granddad gave them the slip. I'm the only one that's looking Another searcher I can't find I play (maybe that's his fathers name) As I go out of my mind. They said you had a headstone In a shady plot I've been there twenty times, and Can't even find the lot. You never wrote a letter Your Bible we can't find It's probably in some attic Out of sight and out of mind.
