Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Mitchell of Bent Mountain; daughters, Joann Belcher of Columbia, Tenn., Peggy Reid of Rocky Mount; grandchildren and spouses, Terry and Susan Huff, Maretta Huff of Rocky Mount, Tammy and Robert Underwood of Boones Mill; nine great-grandchildren; niece, Geneva Branscome; nephew, Charlie Mabry. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2001 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd with Rev. Elmon Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Restvale Cemetery, Copper Hill. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
