My ggrandfather, Alanson Farmer, served with Company G, 54th VA regiment, as did a lot of other Carroll Co. men. I had always been told by my dad that his grandfather fought at Chickamauga. What a thrill to visit Chickamauga a year ago and be able to trace every move those men made on the battlefield! Does anyone know of any sources on the 54th VA similar to the Alderman book on the 29th? Sharon Seaver
