    3. Lori, Rootsweb has a US Town/County database that can be used to find a town within a certain state or all occurences of the town name throughout the US. I use it often to find out what county a town is located in. You can access it at: http://resources.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/townco.cgi It does show Liberty Hill in Carroll and Albemarle Counties.
